Karen grew up in Amherst, Ohio.  She completed Course of Study at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.  In addition to being a Pastor at Mentor Plains United Methodist Church, Karen is also a certified Spiritual Director.

Prior to Mentor Plains, Karen served as Pastor at Lorain Faith United Methodist Church for nine years.

Karen’s pastoral ministry is rooted in “love one another,” and that we are to love who Jesus loves, especially those in the margins.

When she is not at Mentor Plains, she is likely spending time with her daughter and son-in-law and her two grandchildren.  Karen is an avid walker and enjoys trying new foods.
